Six years ago, before I got married, I lost about 60 lbs on weight watchers. Unfortunately, having two babies in two and a half years, coupled with being home with them for a year, I put the weight back on and then some. This past December, I finally came to a point in my life that I was tired of looking and feeling the way I did. Around this time, my sister asked me to join a gym with her. After looking at a few different options, we decided to join Best Fitness.
At my assessment, I decided to sign up for personal training sessions with Jeff two times a week. I really wanted to get a lot out the gym and learn the best way to workout that would benefit me in getting fit. Going to my first training session on Christmas Eve, I was definitely nervous about if I would do it or not. Very quickly, I realized that I would do it and I actually enjoyed working out! I am now training with Jon W. and the workouts are still fun for me. I am even at a point that I come to the gym on my own. Because of this, I got into the habit of coming to the gym every day since Christmas Eve.
Another important part of my weight loss and getting into shape has been the food tracker on Best Fitness Online. Putting in what I eat everyday has helped me become more aware of the right and wrong foods to eat. It has kept my eating on the right track.
The combination of going to the gym every day, the personal training, and eating right has helped me lose over 80 lbs!!! Joining Best Fitness was the best decision I ever made.
